Jaime Maddox grew up in West Nanticoke, PA, and spent her childhood playing along the banks of the Susquehanna River, the setting for her first novel, Agnes. Other than a few years away at school, she’s lived her entire life not far from her childhood home. It’s a good fit, as the mountains and lakes of Northeastern Pennsylvania give her plenty of recreation. Golf, kayaking, and hiking are some of her favorites.
A medical career takes much of her time, but she’s fortunate to work beside her partner in the urgent care they opened together. After hours, her favorite things to do involve her twin boys.
Jaime has been knocking items off the bucket list: she’s published a novel and a children’s book and took a tour of Alaska. Still to go: a patent, creating a board game, recording a song.
She’s published multiple books with Bold Strokes Books. Her debut novel, Agnes, was awarded the Alice B. Lavender Certificate.
