For the past three years, thirty-one-year-old Dina Graber’s life has been all work all the time. As the general manager of a new restaurant, there’s been little time for anything else. But when her best friend and executive chef Kay demands Dina finally take a break, she signs up for the Maiden Voyager Retreat, a five-day women’s wellness experience in the woods of Maine. Also attending? Lana Horowitz, her first girlfriend and the woman she hasn’t been able to get over.
Lana is used to pushing through. She spent her twenties in marketing for a holistic wellness company, until a chronic illness and burnout forced her to quit. Now, at thirty-two, all her energy goes into keeping her pottery business and her body running. When her old coworker invites her to attend a retreat at her new wellness center, Lana jumps at the chance for some relaxation. But she didn’t bargain for the intensity of the programming, or for her roommate to be her ex-first love.
Throughout the retreat, Dina and Lana are forced to face some hard truths about their lives. The deepest truth? Their love story might not really be over.
